Key Responsibilities
Government & Regulatory Liaison
 Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Govt departments like FSSAI, Food Safety Dept.
municipal authorities, Pollution Control Board, Fire Safety and other relevant regulatory bodies.
 Knowledge of the structure of FSSAI & Food Safety dept.
 Coordinate approvals, registrations, and permissions required for UCO collection and handling.
 Represent ECOIL in meetings, audits, and inspections related to the initiative.
UCO Collection Program Support
 Work with FSSAI & Food Safety dept. and other authorities to promote and enforce the ECoil's
initiative among restaurant and hotel partners & Policy level changes
 Support the implementation of Used Cooking Oil collection processes at partner locations.
 Ensure partner compliance with food safety and waste management guidelines.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
 Coordinate with restaurant and hotel partners to ensure smooth adoption of our programmes.
 Conduct awareness sessions or events, workshops for partners, explaining the perks.




 Support the sales and operations teams in partner onboarding and retention.
Compliance & Documentation
 Ensure all statutory requirements for UCO collection, storage, and transportation are met.
 Maintain accurate records of approvals, licenses, and compliance documents.
 Track and follow up on regulatory deadlines and renewals.
Reporting & Strategy
 Provide regular updates to leadership on liaison activities and progress.
 Identify opportunities to expand the UCO program through regulatory support.
 Suggest improvements in processes and compliance strategy.
Desired Profile (Education & Experience)
 Bachelor's degree (preferably in Commerce, Law, Environmental Studies, or related fields).
 3–7 years of experience in liaisoning, compliance, or government relations (preferably with
FSSAI or in the food industry).
 Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and government processes & all communication
