Role Description: The Sr. Solar Design Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in New Delhi. This position is responsible for designing rooftop solar PV systems, including detailed system layout, string sizing, cable routing, and equipment selection. The engineer will prepare and review single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical drawings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes,



standards, and safety requirements. Day-to-day tasks include performing site assessments, conducting energy yield calculations, creating bill of materials, and supporting proposal and tender documentation with accurate technical inputs. The role also involves collaborating with sales, project management, and installation teams, providing technical guidance during execution, and optimizing system designs for performance, cost-effectiveness, and long-term reliability.
