About the role
Yo Bo Ho New Media is looking for a Senior Writer-Producer to own scripting AND production delivery across three of our curiosity and teen-audience You Tube brands — LAB 360, Orbit: Beyond the Blue, and Starxtreme. This isn't a pure writing role — you'll write the script, then drive it through production, rallying animation, editing, and VO teams to get the final video out the door, on time, every time.
A lot of our content is time-sensitive and tied directly to revenue opportunities — trending topics, seasonal moments, platform algorithm windows. When a video needs to go out fast to capture that window, you'll be expected to mobilize your team and push it through, including over weekends when required. This is a senior, hands-on, ownership-heavy role for someone who can write at scale without losing craft, run a production pipeline end-to-end, and is genuinely comfortable using AI tools to speed up research, ideation, and drafting as part of a real production workflow.
What you'll do




Write scripts and own end-to-end production delivery for episodes across the three brands, from concept to final published video Develop episode concepts, series arcs, and content calendars geared toward revenue growth across the three brands Translate research-heavy topics (science, space, curiosity/edutainment) into punchy, watchable narratives for a young, global audience Rally and coordinate animation, editing, and VO/sound teams to push out time-sensitive videos fast, including over weekends when a revenue window demands it Use AI tools to accelerate research, outlining, and first-draft generation, while maintaining a robust editorial and quality bar Track what's working using video performance data and iterate on tone, pacing, and format to drive revenue What we're looking for
5+ years of writing experience, with prior work specifically in the curiosity/STEM/space/edutainment genre — this is a must, not a nice-to-have Genuine interest and working knowledge of space
