Sowaka Health is building the first compliance‐native platform for named‐patient and early access programs in India and underserved markets globally. Through our proprietary platform, Sowaka OS, we operate specialty access and named‐patient programs for unapproved and hard‐to‐access medicines, working with hospitals, physicians, and global suppliers to create safe, audit‐ready "port‐to‐patient" pathways. In markets where patients needing pre‐commercial or unlicensed breakthrough therapies have limited structured, credible access routes, we are creating that pathway from the ground up with the intent to make it the global standard.
Role purpose
The International BD Associate – Global Pharma Trading is an India‐based commercial operations and business‐development support role responsible for helping identify, qualify, track, and coordinate global patient supply and specialty‐access opportunities, with a robust focus on pharmaceutical cross‐border trading.
The role operates from India as part of Sowaka's commercial and supply‐opportunity support hub.



It supports the global commercial funnel owned by senior leadership and works closely with sourcing, logistics, access operations, regulatory, quality, and external vendor stakeholders.
This is a highly hands‐on role combining opportunity research, vendor and buyer mapping, global supply‐inquiry support, outbound outreach, commercial follow‐up, documentation coordination, and structured pipeline management. It is designed for a disciplined junior‐to‐mid‐level operator who can support senior leadership by converting fragmented market signals, vendor conversations, emails, introductions, and supply inquiries into organised, actionable commercial opportunities.
