Role Overview
We are looking for a qualified Company Secretary (CS) with experience in compliance and regulatory matters to join Raama Finance Limited as a Compliance Officer. The role will be responsible for ensuring adherence to RBI regulations, statutory requirements, internal policies, and corporate governance standards, while managing regulatory filings, audits, compliance monitoring, and strengthening the overall compliance framework of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, applicable laws, NBFC guidelines, KYC/AML requirements, and corporate governance standards while monitoring regulatory changes and assessing their impact on the organization. Develop, implement, and regularly update compliance policies, SOPs, internal controls, and governance frameworks to strengthen the organization's compliance structure. Conduct periodic compliance reviews, identify potential gaps or risks, recommend corrective actions, and monitor timely closure of compliance observations. Coordinate with internal and external auditors,



manage regulatory inspections, maintain compliance documentation, and ensure timely submission of regulatory filings and reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, Legal, HR, and Business functions to ensure effective implementation of compliance requirements across the organization. Conduct compliance training and awareness programs for employees and promote a culture of ethics, accountability, and regulatory awareness. Prepare compliance dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior management and the Board, providing insights on key compliance risks and status updates. Preferred Experience & Education
