Role Description
This is a contract-based on-site position for a Senior Paint Artist in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Senior Paint Artist will be responsible for creating clean plates, removing artifacts, and enhancing shots to meet the highest standards of VFX production. Responsibilities include efficiently executing wire/rig removal, compositing fixes, and beauty work, as well as collaborating closely with other VFX artists and supervisors.



This key role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production setting.
Qualifications
Proficiency in paint and clean-up tasks, including wire/rig removal, dust-busting, feature fixes, and clean plating Robust skills in rotoscope-based paint workflows and an intermediate understanding of compositing tools Experience working with high-resolution images, understanding color spaces, and managing match-grade consistency Proficiency in software such as Nuke and Photoshop Ability to manage complex tasks independently and meet tight deadlines under pressure Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving with diverse teams A solid understanding of VFX pipelines and industry standards Relevant academic background or proven work experience in VFX, motion graphics, or related digital media disciplines Experience in high-end feature films or commercials will be considered an advantage
