We are seeking an experienced Senior Temenos GL Consultant to work onsite in Bangalore. The role requires strong expertise in Temenos Transact (T24) Financial Accounting and General Ledger (GL), with deep knowledge of core banking accounting structures, reconciliation processes, and AA–GL integration.
The consultant will be responsible for leading GL implementation, configuration, support, and reconciliation activities in a core banking environment, ensuring accurate financial postings and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead implementation and configuration of Temenos General Ledger (GL) and Financial Accounting modules.
• Design and maintain Chart of Accounts, Accounting Schemas, and Posting Rules.
• Manage GL integration with AA modules (Deposits, Lending, Accounts).
• Handle financial postings, reconciliations, and balancing activities.
• Analyze and resolve GL mismatches, suspense accounts, and reconciliation issues.
• Support EOD/COB (End of Day / Close of Business) processes.
• Work with business and technical teams to ensure correct accounting flows.




• Participate in implementation, upgrade, and migration projects.
• Prepare functional and technical documentation (BRD, FSD, accounting mappings).
• Support SIT, UAT, and production issue resolution (L3 support).
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and audit requirements.
• Conduct workshops with stakeholders on accounting and GL processes.
Required Skills & Expertise
• Strong hands-on experience in Temenos T24 / Transact Financial Accounting (GL module).
• Strong knowledge of:
o General Ledger structures in core banking
o Accounting schemas and posting rules
o Chart of Accounts design
o Suspense and reconciliation management
o EOD / COB processing
• Experience in AA (Arrangement Architecture) integration with GL.
• Strong understanding of retail banking accounting flows (Loans, Deposits, Fees).
• Experience in GL mismatch analysis and resolution.
• Solid SQL and data analysis skills.
