Position Overview
The company is looking for a Backend Engineer with deep Python or Go expertise to build and own mission-critical microservices that power its consumer AI platform. You will design scalable, high-availability systems handling massive traffic at India scale. This role spans L4 (senior IC owning complex service systems)



and involves end-to-end ownership from architecture through to production operations.
Role & Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy production-grade microservices using Python or Go with high availability and data consistency guarantees Develop reliable REST and async APIs supporting complex, high-traffic consumer AI workflows Optimize system performance through latency reduction, throughput improvements, and productive asynchronous processing pipelines Identify and resolve scaling bottlenecks in production distributed environments serving 100 M+ users Own end-to-end production services—from architecture and implementation to monitoring, alerting, and incident resolution Must Have Criteria
4–8 years of backend engineering experience with Python as the primary language, Fullstack development with heavy backend skills preferred. 2+ years of hands-on experience building production microservices with Python or Go Proven experience designing and oper
