Role Purpose
Manage logistics, Vendor Management, MIS and Inter- department co-ordination for a rapidly growing international business which includes Supply & Billing Planning, Shipment & Vessel Planning, Vendor Management for shipment pre-work, , Required Certification & Documentations Viz EIH, Co C, CEPA, CRIA, Legalization etc, Freight Management, Quick Customer Response and Query Resolution, Internal and External Co-ordination
Key Accountabilities/ Responsibilities
Process
Supply and Billing Planning for International Business. Work with 3rd Party Vendor in arrangement of shipments from Factory to port to Countries / Customers. Oversee the pre-work for shipments, including invoicing, vendor management, and freight arrangements. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and export documentation standards for all shipments. Collaborate with the production team for vessel planning and ensure seamless coordination with freight forwarders and vendors to avoid any logistical bottlenecks. Financial




Optimize freight costs by negotiating with vendors and ensuring cost-effective shipment solutions. Ensure Multiple Quotes and Multiple Vendors for each activity Freight Analysis and control: Monitor and control shipping expenses to maintain budget compliance and improve overall profitability Ensure Near Zero Demurrage and Port Holding Charges with timely Documentation and Quick Customer / Customs Response with Logistics Vendor Customer
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of shipments by managing coordination between supply chain, production, and external freight forwarders. Maintain transparent communication with business managers and customers regarding shipment schedules and delivery timelines. People
Work closely with internal teams (supply chain, finance, and business managers) to ensure alignment of logistics activities with business goals. Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders like
