Job Role: Mathematics Teacher (Cambridge)
Location: Sector 70 A, Gurgaon
Job Purpose
The Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in accordance with the Cambridge International Curriculum to teach IGCSE, AS & A levels. The teacher will foster analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a solid conceptual understanding of mathematics while supporting students in achieving academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Learning
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum framework. Teach Mathematics across assigned grade levels, including Cambridge Lower Secondary and IGCSE. Develop students' mathematical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies, resources, and technologies to enhance learning outcomes. Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Assessment and Student Progress
Design and administer formative and summative assessments in line with Cambridge standards. Prepare students effectively for Cambridge Checkpoint and IGCSE examinations. Monitor, assess, and record student progress accurately. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents. Analyze assessment data to identify learning gaps and implement intervention strategies. Curriculum Planning and Development
Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials aligned with curriculum objectives. Collaborate with department members to ensure curriculum continuity and progression. Participate in curriculum review and improvement initiatives. Stay updated with Cambridge assessment criteria, syllabus updates, and best practices in Mathematics education. Student Support
