RV University invites applications for the position of Dean, School of Psychology & Behavioural Sciences for its Mysuru Campus. The University is seeking an accomplished academic leader with a robust record of research, teaching and institutional leadership to guide the growth and academic vision of the School.
The Dean will play a key role in shaping the School's academic direction, fostering high-quality research, strengthening interdisciplinary engagement and building programmes that align with contemporary developments in psychology and behavioural sciences.
Eligibility Criteria
Must hold the position of Professor in Psychology with a minimum 3 years as full time Professor. Minimum 20 research publications,



including publications indexed in Scopus / Web of Science. Experience in doctoral supervision, with at least two Ph. D. scholars successfully awarded. Desirable
Previous experience as Dean / Associate Dean. Demonstrated ability to lead academic programmes, research initiatives and faculty development. Key Responsibilities
Provide academic leadership and strategic direction for the School. Strengthen research culture and interdisciplinary collaborations. Oversee curriculum development aligned with NEP 2020 and emerging fields in behavioural sciences. Support faculty development, student mentoring, and academic excellence.
