ROLE SUMMARY
Material Planning & supplier management plays a critical role in ensuring the productive and cost-effective management of materials required for manufacturing and operations.
This position involves analysing material requirements, managing inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers,
and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and customer demands.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of supply chain processes to optimize material availability and minimize costs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Material Planning and supplier Management:
Analyze Supplier schedules wrt production requirement to ensure 100% release accuracy.
Develop and maintain critical material long term plans to support production schedules.
Monitor and optimize inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely material readiness, Promise date confirmation & shipment executions.
Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues to maintain high service levels.
Work closely with cross functional team to mitigate supplier long term issue.
Partner with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
