Associate Director – Legal & Compliance
Hyderabad | 12–15 Years PQE
A leading global investment and technology-driven firm is seeking an experienced legal professional to join its Legal & Compliance team in Hyderabad.
This is a senior leadership prospect for a lawyer with strong experience in commercial contracting, trading documentation, and team management, looking to play a strategic role within a global legal function.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing legal team supporting global stakeholders.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including licensing agreements, Saa S contracts, trading documentation (ISDA, GMRA, repos, confirms), NDAs, and vendor contracts.
• Provide strategic legal support on intellectual property, commercial, and compliance-related matters.
• Partner with stakeholders across international offices to manage legal risks and drive business objectives.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives, process improvements, and the evolution of the firm's global legal capabilities.




• Support talent acquisition, development, and retention efforts while fostering team growth and engagement.
Requirements:
• LL. B. from a recognized institution with 12–15 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience leading and managing sizeable legal teams.
• Strong background in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial and trading agreements.
• Experience gained in a combination of leading law firms and multinational organizations is preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Exposure to data privacy matters and financial services documentation will be advantageous.
