We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accounting professional to support our finance and accounting operations. This role will be responsible for preparing journal entries, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and managing corporate American Express expense coding and support. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
This position is intended for a mid-level accounting professional based in India who is comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace and supporting a U. S.-based accounting function.
Position: Accounts Executive- US Process
Location: Begumpet, Hyderabad
Shift Timing: Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM IST to 12: 30 AM IST
Years of Experience: 4- 6 years.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post monthly journal entries accurately and timely
Perform detailed balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances




Review and code American Express transactions to appropriate general ledger accounts based on supporting invoices and business purpose
Exercise judgment in determining proper account coding and expense classification
Follow up with internal employees to obtain missing receipts and supporting documentation for corporate card transactions
Maintain organized documentation supporting reconciliations and expense coding
Assist with month-end close activities and deadlines
Identify process improvement opportunities within accounting workflows
Collaborate with accounting and operational teams to resolve discrepancies and questions
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
Qualifications
Experience with journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations required
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
Comfortable with formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, and reconciliation work
Experience reviewing and coding corporate credit card or expense tran
