Position Summary:
The Head of Quality – Grid India (Padra, Vadodara) is responsible for leading and overseeing all quality-related activities across all Standex Grid manufacturing units in India, including Quality Control (incoming, in-process, and final inspection), Quality Assurance, Quality Management System (QMS), customer and supplier quality, complaint handling, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action management.
This role ensures that products, processes, and systems consistently meet defined specifications, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory and quality management standards
Acting as the primary authority for quality performance across the region, the position establishes strong governance, drives standardization across sites, and ensures effective communication with all stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal functions.
The Head of Quality drives execution discipline across manufacturing units, ensures robust identification, containment, and resolution of non-conforming material,



and leads structured problem-solving and RCCA processes. The role also supports and leads internal, external, and customer audits, ensuring audit readiness and compliance across all sites.
In addition, the position is an active member of the global quality management team, contributing to the development of the global quality strategy and ensuring its effective deployment and execution across the Grid India region. The role serves as a key link between global quality leadership and regional operations, ensuring alignment, feedback, and continuous improvement of global quality standards and practices.
