Role Overview We're seeking a Senior Analyst to support US utilities and developers in procuring Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) equipment. This client-facing role combines deep market, pricing, and supplier intelligence with procurement advisory, helping clients run competitive, well-informed sourcing processes and make sound equipment selection decisions across the US renewable energy market.
Key Responsibilities
Advise US utilities and developers on procurement strategy and sourcing of key Solar PV and BESS equipment (modules, inverters/PCS, trackers, battery cells/modules, containers, balance-of-plant) Develop and manage RFQ/RFP processes on behalf of clients — structuring solicitations, evaluating vendor proposals, and preparing bid comparisons and award recommendations Build and maintain pricing benchmarks and cost intelligence across modules, inverters, batteries, and BOP — tracking $/W and $/k Wh trends, regional price differentials, and historical/forward pricing curves Conduct cost analysis, price benchmarking,



and total-cost-of-ownership assessments across OEMs and suppliers Develop and maintain supplier intelligence — profiling OEMs and suppliers on capacity, manufacturing footprint, financial health, bankability, tier ranking, product roadmaps, and delivery track record Benchmark suppliers against technical, commercial, and risk criteria to inform shortlisting and award decisions Track US equipment pricing trends, lead times, and supply chain dynamics, delivering market intelligence to client and project teams Support vendor qualification and technical due diligence in coordination with engineering teams Advise clients on US trade, tariff, and policy considerations affecting solar and storage procurement (AD/CVD, UFLPA, Section 201/301 tariffs, IRA domestic content and ITC/PTC requirements) Support contract structuring, commercial terms, and supplier negotiations Maintain procurement trackers, benchmarking dashboards, and market/suppli
