Role Description This is a full-time, in office Accountant role based in Bengaluru. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank accounts. The role involves preparing invoices, processing vendor bills, handling employee expense claims, and ensuring timely payments and collections. The Accountant will assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, including preparation of financial statements and management reports.



Responsibilities also include supporting budgeting and forecasting, monitoring cash flow, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations, coordinating with auditors, and maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in core accounting principles, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation. Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel (spreadsheets, pivot tables, basic formulas), and comfort working with digital financial tools and ERPs. Knowledge of local tax laws, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance, with experience preparing and supporting tax filings and audit requirements.
