Operations Head—Garment Units (Knits)

Purpose of the Role:
To lead and oversee the full scope of operations within the garment manufacturing units (knits) at Pithampur, ensuring optimal production output, quality standards, timely deliveries, cost management, and compliance. The Operations Head will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, anticipating production issues, managing a large team, and fostering a culture of high performance, learning, and skill enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production and Delivery Execution
Ensure On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) delivery of all orders by optimizing production planning and execution. Lead the production scheduling process across multiple lines, ensuring adherence to delivery timelines and quality standards. Drive production stability through effective line balancing, capacity management, and addressing bottlenecks. Ensure smooth changeovers between styles, ramp up efficiency,



and deliver finished products as per buyer specifications. 2. Quality Management
Own the overall quality system for the garment units, ensuring strict adherence to buyer quality standards and internal policies. Implement in-line and end-line quality control measures to minimize defects, rework, and rejected products. Lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for any non-conformities, driving continuous improvement. Manage quality audits and ensure compliance with all internal and external quality assurance standards. 3. Industrial Engineering and Productivity Management
Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational productivity through methods like line balancing, SMV analysis, and waste reduction. Oversee the development and implementation of productivity tracking systems, ensuring alignment to production targets. Utilize industrial engineering techniques to optimize manpower deployment, standard times
