Worsted Spinning
Weaving
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage manufacturing operations within the assigned process area.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
Analyse production data and identify opportunities for process optimisation.
Improve planning, scheduling, and execution of production activities.
Monitor and reduce waste, downtime, and conversion costs.
Ensure effective inventory management and fulfilment of market requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best
practices.
Build capable teams and develop future leaders within the department.
Drive adoption of current technologies, automation, AI tools, and data-driven decision
making practices.
Essential Requirements
BE/B. Tech in Textile Engineering.
3–10 years of relevant experience in Worsted Spinning or Weaving operations.
Strong technical expertise in the relevant manufacturing process.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with comfort in working with
production data and KPIs.
Good exposure to ERP/SAP systems and digital tools.
Curious, energetic, and growth-oriented mindset.
Strong organisational and people leadership skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and operate within structured
systems.
