Job Summary
Kunskapsskolan International is seeking a passionate and experienced PGT Computer Science Teacher to teach Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Level Computer Science. The candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, practical programming expertise, and the ability to create an engaging, inquiry-based learning workplace that promotes computational thinking, problem-solving, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the Cambridge International curriculum (IGCSE, AS & A Level Computer Science).
- Teach core topics such as: Programming (Python preferred), Algorithms & Data Structures Databases and SQL, Computer Networks
- Emerging Technologies (AI, ML, Cloud Computing basics)
- Prepare students for Cambridge examinations through assessments, mock tests, projects, and revision strategies.
- Design practical coding assignments, lab activities, and real-world problem-solving tasks.




- Maintain records of student progress, attendance, assessments, and performance reports.
- Integrate technology and digital tools into classroom instruction.
- Support students in research projects, coding competitions, and innovation challenges.
- Participate in curriculum planning, faculty meetings, training sessions, and school events.
- Maintain discipline and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with parents and colleagues to support student development.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / MCA or related field.
- B. Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred/mandatory as per school norms.
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in senior secondary classes.
- Experience teaching the Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Level curriculum preferred.
