Role Overv
iew: The role is responsible for end‑to‑end sourcing, supplier development, and commercial manage ment of cell mechanical compon ents includ ing Aluminium Cans, Positive & Negative Caps, Sealing N ails, and allied parts used in lithium‑ion battery ce
lls. This position plays a critical role in ensur ing cost competitiveness, quality, supply assurance, and risk mitiga tion for high‑volume battery cell programs. The role will closely work w ith engineering, quality, manufacturing, finance,



and global supplier part n
ers.

ties: Strategic & Agile Sou
rcin g Own strategic sourcing and category manag ement for cell mechanical components (Al Can, Caps & Sealing syst
ems). Develop and exe cute Agile Sourcing strat egies including multi‑supplier, China+1, localization, and risk‑balanced sourcing mo
dels. D rive cost benchmarking, cost transparency, and should‑cost m odels (RM, processing, yield, capex amortizat
ion). Track and respond proactivel y to aluminium price indices, supply‑demand trends, and capacity r
isks. Supplier Management & Develo
pment Identify, evaluate, onboard, and dev elop global and local supp liers for mechanical cell compon
ents. Lead RFQ/RFP proc esses, supplier negotiations, and long‑term pricing agreem
ents. Drive supp lier technical alig nment on deep‑drawing, tolerances, surface finish, sealing integrity, and productivity improve
