Job Title: MYP Physics Teacher

Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic MYP Physics Teacher to deliver engaging, inquiry-based learning aligned with the IB Middle Years Programme. The ideal candidate will foster conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and real-world application of physics concepts among students.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Physics lessons in line with the IB MYP framework
Design inquiry-driven, interdisciplinary units integrating global contexts
Develop formative and summative assessments aligned with MYP criteria
Encourage scientific thinking, experimentation, and problem-solving skills
Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback
Integrate technology and lab-based learning into the curriculum
Support students’ academic and personal development through mentoring
Participate in curriculum planning,



school events, and professional development programs
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-disciplinary learning
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Physics or related field
B. Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience in IB MYP or international curriculum preferred
Strong understanding of inquiry-based and concept-driven teaching
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Ability to integrate technology into teaching practices
Passion for student-centered learning and innovation
Experience:
2–5 years of teaching experience (IB experience preferred)
