JOB PURPOSE:
- The Head of Procurement is responsible for leading and optimizing the company’s global sourcing and supply chain strategies to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and reliability of goods and services. The role drives supplier selection, contract negotiation, and vendor management across multiple regions while ensuring compliance with international trade, shipping regulations.
- Responsible for all port terminal negotiations, container leasing agreements, inland transportation procurement, and bunkering contracts. Directly responsible for cost control in these domains, from verifying lease overhead for crane usage or yard expansions to negotiating inland transport deals (road/rail) and bunkering terms, and overseeing end-to-end contract
