Role Description The Food Beverage Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing the financial and cost aspects of the hotel’s food and beverage operations. This position involves monitoring daily F&B; revenue and costs, verifying and analyzing consumption reports, and ensuring accurate recording of inventory and transactions. The role includes reviewing menu pricing and costings, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions to maintain profitability and efficiency.



The Food Beverage Controller collaborates closely with the kitchen, restaurant, and finance teams, prepares regular performance reports, and supports compliance with internal controls and hotel policies.
Qualifications
- Strong cost control and menu costing skills, with the ability to optimize food and beverage profitability.
- Proficient analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Solid understanding of finance principles related to F&B; operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Practical knowledge of accounting processes, reconciliations, and inventory management.
- Experience in hospitality or food and beverage operations, preferably in a hotel environment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant hotel/F&B; management software.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work accurately under time constraints.
- Relevant degree or dip
