Product Development is responsible for bringing to life and translating design concepts (sketches) into commercially viable products and are the key actors in liaising with Design, Merchandising, Sourcing and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
•Execute deliverables of the E2 E Calendar
•Monitor Performance & KPIs on Design to Cost, Critical path (E2 E Milestones); Fabric Activities & Collaboration, Development ratio (Hit Rate)
•Sample Management (Ensure availability within E2 E milestones)
•Operates within the Sourcing Strategy for the assigned category / division and discuss specific Sourcing requirements for their assigned areas
•Pre-Screen line plan & programs to allocate workload and initial risk assessment
•Support the collaborative development meetings between Design,



Merchandising and Technical Services
•Negotiate with suppliers on OCS/product costs
Key Relationships:
•Merchandising, Design, Sourcing, Raw Materials & QMTS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Extensive knowledge of fabrics qualities in applicable product categories
•Positive knowledge of textiles processing, finishing & dyeing/printing techniques
•Understanding of Design to Cost elements driving the “Should be Cost” formula’s
•Understanding of Product Development, Trims & Accessories and Range Building aspects
•Working knowledge of PLM
•Good command of spoken & written English
