The Senior Executive – R&D; will be responsible for developing creative, stable, and effective skincare and haircare formulations from concept to commercialization. The role involves formulation development, pilot batches, scale-up activities, technology transfer, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to launch high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Formulation
* Develop and optimize skincare and haircare formulations as per business and innovation requirements.
* Formulate and evaluate products from lab scale to commercial production.
* Conduct research on new ingredients, technologies, and market trends.
* Design and execute experiments for product development and process improvements.
Pilot & Scale-up Management
* Oversee pilot batches and full-scale manufacturing at in-house and third-party manufacturing facilities.
* Lead technology transfer and scale-up activities to ensure seamless commercialization.
* Ensure process reproducibility and manufacturing feasibility.
Testing & Validation
* Conduct stability studies, compatibility testing,



shelf-life determination, and performance evaluations.
* Monitor product quality parameters and troubleshoot formulation challenges.
* Maintain detailed documentation of formulations, trials, and testing results.
Regulatory & Compliance
* Ensure adherence to cosmetic regulations, GMP guidelines, SOPs, and safety requirements.
* Prepare technical documentation and support regulatory submissions.
* Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and industry regulations.
Cost Optimization & Innovation
* Recommend cost-effective ingredients and identify alternative raw materials without compromising product efficacy.
* Continuously scout innovative ingredients and formulation technologies.
* Support renovation and improvement of existing product portfolios.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Collaborate closely with Marketing, Packaging, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and Manufacturing teams
