As a ML Engineer at EBC, you will play a significant role in building the next generation of AI-powered legal research tools. Your mission is to contribute for the development of intelligent,



conversational legal search experiences by leveraging retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), fine-tuned LLMs, and real-time vector-based search technologies. You’ll collaborate closely with the engineering teams to ingest and structure legal data, build AI models, and integrate them into user-facing applications within the EBC Reader platform.
Key Responsibilities:
1. AI-Based Search & Retrieval
- Build and optimize RAG-based pipelines using LLMs like GPT-4 , LLa MA etc.
- Fine-tune large language models for domain-specific (legal) use cases.
- Improve search ranking and result quality through continuous feedback loops and testing.
- Contribute in design and implementation of AI-driven search systems for legal content
2. Data Processing & Vector Indexing
- Create pipelines to ingest, clean, chunk, and vectorize complex legal documents (case law, statutes, treatises).
