ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Senior Video Editor to lead the creative output of our content team in Bangalore. You'll own the editorial standard for our Instagram short-form content, mentor a junior editor, and play an active role in shaping the creative direction as we scale across multiple niches.
This is not a purely executional role — we want someone who brings ideas, spots opportunities, and takes ownership of the quality of what we put out. The environment is fast, experimental, and high-trust. For reference on the content style, check out cyborggirll and fulldisclosure.ig on Instagram.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the editing of talking head reels across multiple Instagram niches — set and uphold the creative and technical standard for the team




• Own the full editing workflow: pacing, hooks, captions, colour, sound, and overall feel
• Review and provide constructive feedback on the junior editor's work; actively support their development
• Proactively bring creative ideas — new formats, editing styles, and emerging trends to test
• Work closely with the strategy team to understand performance data and adapt output accordingly
• Help build and refine editing SOPs and style guides as the team and content volume scales
REQUIREMENTS
• 3+ years of video editing experience, with a strong portfolio in short-form social media content
• Deep understanding of Instagram's algorithm, reel performance metrics, and content trends
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Da Vinci Resolve
• After Effects or motion graphics experience is a robust plus
