About the Role
Sun Crypto is seeking an experienced and qualified Chartered Accountant to lead the Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Audit, Treasury, and Regulatory Reporting functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, statutory compliance, strong internal controls, and regulatory readiness in a fast-growing fintech and virtual digital asset (VDA) ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Audit
Oversee end-to-end accounting and financial reporting under Ind AS.
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closures.
Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits.
Establish and strengthen internal financial controls and compliance processes.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Reconciliation & Financial Controls
Manage daily reconciliation of bank accounts, payment gateways, trading platforms, and digital asset wallets.




Ensure accurate reconciliation of customer transactions, deposits, withdrawals, and trading activities.
Monitor financial controls and resolve reconciliation discrepancies within defined timelines.
Taxation & Compliance
Handle Direct Tax, GST, TDS, and regulatory filings.
Ensure compliance with VDA taxation provisions including Section 194 S and Section 115 BBH.
Manage GST returns, audits, assessments, and notices.
Coordinate advance tax calculations and annual tax planning activities.
Regulatory & Government Liaison
Represent the organization before Income Tax, GST, MCA, FIU-IND, banking partners, and other regulatory bodies.
Manage responses to notices, assessments, audits, and regulatory inquiries.
Support compliance and reporting requirements related to virtual digital assets.
Treasury & Banking Operations
Monitor daily cash flow and treasury activities.
Manage banking relationships and payment operations.
