We are looking to hire someone for our Trusteeship business at Nuvama Asset Services.
Role Requirements:
Education: CA / CS / CFA / MBA (Finance) / LLB or equivalent qualification.
Experience: Extensive experience in Trusteeship, Custody, Fund Services, Compliance, or Alternative Investments.
Domain Expertise:
1. Solid knowledge of SEBI AIF Regulations, Category I / II / III AIFs, fund documentation, and fiduciary oversight.
2. Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Experience leading teams and managing relationships with Fund Managers, Sponsors, Regulators, and Custodians.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership: Direct the end-to-end trusteeship vertical, focusing exclusively on Category I, II, and III AIFs to ensure the firm remains the preferred fiduciary partner in the AIF ecosystem.
2. Regulatory & SEBI Compliance: Act as the primary interface with SEBI for fund registrations (Form A), ensuring all schemes strictly adhere to the SEBI (AIF) Regulations, 2012,



and the latest 2026 reporting frameworks.
3. Fiduciary Oversight: Oversee the vetting and execution of critical fund documents, including Indentures of Trust, Investment Management Agreements (IMA), and Private Placement Memorandums (PPM).
4. Operational Governance: Supervise the monitoring of investment restrictions, diversification norms, and the review of Annual Compliance Test Reports (CTR) to safeguard unit-holder interests.
5. Stakeholder Management: Manage high-level relationships with Fund Managers (IMs), Sponsors, and Custody team, providing expert guidance on complex fund structures and onboarding processes.
6. Risk & Asset Protection: Implement robust internal controls to ensure ring-fencing of schemes, proper valuation oversight, and the seamless handling of investor grievances and distributions.
