About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Hotel Mapping Specialist to join our Hotel data mapping team.
Online travel platforms receive hotel content from numerous suppliers, including bed banks, wholesalers, GDS providers, and channel managers. Since the same hotel may be represented differently across these sources, duplicate and inconsistent hotel records are common.
The Hotel Mapping Analyst is responsible for identifying, validating, and maintaining accurate hotel mappings across multiple data sources. This role plays a critical part in ensuring data quality, improving customer experience, and supporting the efficient operation of travel booking platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Hotel Data Analysis & Validation
Analyze hotel information received from multiple suppliers to determine whether records represent the same property.
Compare hotel names, addresses, geolocations, facilities, ratings,



and other attributes to validate mapping accuracy.
Identify and resolve duplicate, conflicting, or inaccurate hotel records.
Ensure mapping decisions align with established quality standards and business rules.
Data Quality Management
Perform quality checks and audits to maintain accurate and consistent hotel data.
Investigate discrepancies and resolve data-related issues through research and analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Strong logical reasoning and investigative skills.
Positive written English communication and comprehension.
Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
