Role Purpose:
The Senior Project Manager leads the project team through the project by establishing governance that befits the needs of the project. They develop a plan that maximizes value to the stakeholders, ensure the execution of that plan and track the team’s performance against it. The Senior Project Manager ensures that the project is optimized to prioritize value within balanced constraints and manages expectations through complex environments.
Mission based responsibilities
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing large-scale, complex projects and ensuring their successful delivery on-time, within scope, and budget. In doing so they must set, manage and fulfil customer expectations to ensure the project is a success.
The Senior Project Manager role, as described, to be oriented toward ensuring that large-scale,
complex projects not only meet technical requirements but also contribute significantly to the organization's strategic objectives and deliver tangible perks.
The Senior Project manager will apply the relevant project management methodology for the project life cycle. In case of Agile or Hybrid methodologies, the Project manager will endeavor to act as a Scrum Master, driving efficiency, collaboration, empowerment and value creation based on Agile principles.
The Senior Project Manager role will also be engaged during pre-sales stages to support and contribute to the proposals helping in winning the deals.
The Senior Project Manager will also play a vital role in ensuring seamless service integration of partners into the solution being delivered.
