Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a proficient Data Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, efficient data pipelines and enterprise data solutions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement data management strategies, and ensure data quality, security, and availability. The Data Engineer will leverage experience in cloud platforms, big data tools, and up-to-date development practices to enable data-driven decision-making and operational excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement end-to-end solution architecture for Payment Post Processing use cases (Notifications, Reports)
• Help build new integration with legacy and modern Payment processors to receive all Payment master data.
• Lead architecture decisions for batch and real-time data processing.
• Help build end to end designs with other senior architects in other Sub Value Stream of GPS.
• Build and optimize data platforms on cloud and on-prem.
• Define scalable data models, pipelines, and governance frameworks




• Ensure data quality, lineage, security, and compliance
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to align architecture with business goals
• Drive adoption of best practices, standards, and reusable frameworks
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams
• Evaluate new technologies and drive innovation in data architecture
Required Technical Skills:
• Experience of working on large scale Data Platforms (On Cloud and On-Prem)
• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) mainly:
Big Query, Bigtable, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Spanner, Looker, Vertex AI (ML integration)
• Strong understanding of:
o Data Lakehouse architecture
o Streaming vs batch trade-offs
o Distributed systems design
o API and event-driven architecture
• Experience with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks
