Handle procurement and purchasing of branded generics, surgical products, and healthcare supplies. Develop and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical distributors, stockists, manufacturers, and vendors. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and procurement contracts to ensure cost efficiency. Compare quotations, evaluate suppliers, and ensure competitive sourcing. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with sales and warehouse teams to maintain stock availability. Raise purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of products. Track shortages, backorders, and urgent requirements.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, documentation, and invoicing processes. Maintain accurate purchase records, reports, and vendor databases. Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and product availability in branded generics and surgicals. Requirements 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical purchasing, specifically in branded generics and surgical products. Strong vendor network and understanding of the pharma distribution ecosystem. Valuable negotiation and vendor management skills. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, stock management, and pricing. Proficiency in Excel/ERP systems is preferred. Detail-oriented with strong communication and coordination skills.
