Mandatory Experience - Manufacturing Inventory & COGS Bookkeeper
Core Requirement: The candidate must have direct, proven experience in physical manufacturing accounting, specifically handling Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), raw materials, and finished goods inventory. Retail or service-sector bookkeepers will be rejected immediately.
ERP Competency: Mandatory experience with robust inventory management systems. Direct experience with Cin7 Core (DEAR) and handling historical data migrations is highly preferred.
BOM & Variance Tracking: Must be capable of managing complex Bills of Materials (BOMs), tracking production yield variances, and properly isolating scrap or material waste from standard COGS.
Landed Cost Mastery: Must know how to accurately capitalize lagging ocean freight, customs, and duties into inventory valuation rather than simply expensing them.
Reconciliation Expertise: Requires advanced data forensics (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
to reconcile physical cycle counts against the General Ledger and actively manage aged Inventory Received Not Invoiced (IRNI) clearing accounts.
Month-End Hard Close: Must be able to independently execute strict month-end cut-offs, adjust for dead stock, and ensure the trial balance perfectly reflects physical warehouse reality.
Key Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Proven experience in bookkeeping, inventory accounting, or a similar role.
Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entry.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze inventory variances and trends.
