Job Title: Assistant Manager – Indirect Procurement
Experience: 5–7 Years
Location: Ambernath Facility

Role Summary
Responsible for managing procurement activities related to indirect spend, including OPEX, engineering goods & services, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), and small CAPEX.
Ensures efficient sourcing, cost optimization, vendor management, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement of OPEX items such as consumables, utilities, and services.
Sourcing and procurement of engineering goods and technical services.
Handling MRO procurement ensuring timely availability of materials.
Managing procurement of small CAPEX projects.
Vendor identification, evaluation, onboarding, and development.
Negotiating pricing, contracts, and service agreements to achieve cost savings.
Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and audit requirements.
Managing RFQs, bid comparisons, and PO creation.
Coordinating with internal stakeholders like Engineering, Maintenance, QA, and Finance.
Monitoring supplier performance and driving continuous improvement.
Maintaining procurement documentation and MIS reporting.
Ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards (GMP compliance for pharma).
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Positive understanding of indirect procurement categories.
Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems preferred.
Analytical and cost optimization skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Understanding of compliance and audit processes.
