Role Description We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Lab Technician who can support day-to-day laboratory operations, handle analytical instruments, follow sterility and biosafety protocols, and perform sample testing, including blood sample handling. The ideal candidate should have hands-on laboratory experience, valuable documentation skills, and a basic understanding of statistics for data recording, interpretation, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain basic analytical instruments used in laboratory testing. Follow sterility protocols during sample preparation, testing, and equipment handling. Handle blood samples and other biological specimens using proper biosafety precautions. Perform routine laboratory tests as per approved SOPs. Prepare reagents, media, buffers, and consumables as required. Record test results accurately in lab registers, Excel sheets, or LIMS/software.



Perform basic statistical calculations such as mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, trend checks, and basic data comparison. Report abnormal results, deviations, contamination, instrument errors, or safety concerns immediately. Required Qualifications
Master's/ Bachelor's degree Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related field. Required Skills
Understanding of sterility protocols, aseptic techniques, and contamination control. Familiarity with sample preparation, testing, storage, and disposal procedures. Basic knowledge of blood sample handling and biosafety precautions. Working knowledge of MS Excel or similar tools. Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs accurately. Good communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Skills
Experience with QC/QA documentation. Familiarity with ISO, NABL, GLP, GMP, or clinical laboratory standards. Experience with
