Role Description The Gallery Assistant role at The Lexicon Art is a full time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The Gallery Assistant will welcome visitors, provide information about artworks and exhibitions, and guide clients through the viewing and purchasing process. This role involves maintaining detailed records of inquiries and sales, updating client databases,



and supporting follow-ups with prospective buyers. The Gallery Assistant will assist in preparing the gallery space for exhibitions, ensuring displays are well-presented and marketing materials are readily available. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with the gallery team on events, supporting online sales inquiries, and handling basic administrative tasks related to sales and client service.
Qualifications
Strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to engage visitors, understand client needs, and build lasting relationships.
Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain artworks clearly, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with the internal team.
Proven Sales aptitude, including comfort with targets, upselling, and closing sales in a consultative, client-focused manner.
Solid Organization Skills to manage client records, schedul
