Education & Experience
- Masters degree in any area of life science.
- 2-6 of experience in biochemical and cell-based assay development, validation, and high throughput screening.
- Proficient in statistical analysis of assay data and interpreting potency and mechanism of action.
Business Understanding
- Basic to intermediate understanding of the biologics pharmaceutical industry.
Technical Knowledge
- Solid fundamentals in biochemistry and cell biology.
- Cell culture techniques and management.
- Experience in biochemical and cell-based assays, including specialty assays.
- Skilled in designing screening workflows, assay development, optimization, and validation.
- Understanding of target and therapeutic classes.
- Familiarity with advanced technical platforms: fluorescence, luminescence, flow cytometry, multiplexing, TR-FRET, thermophoresis, assay miniaturization, and high-throughput screening.
- Compound management and mechanism of action studies.
- Capable of robust data analysis and clear result interpretation.
