Role Purpose :
To support plant finance operations including accounting, reporting, compliance, and coordination with manufacturing teams for accurate financial control.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plant Accounting & Closure
Support monthly and quarterly financial closure
Pass journal entries, provisions, and accruals
Ensure accuracy of ledger postings and reconciliations
Assist in preparation of financial schedules
2. Expense Monitoring (Opex Control)
Track plant expenses and validate supporting documents
Monitor budget vs actual and highlight deviations
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for expense inputs

MIS & Financial Reporting
Prepare plant MIS and periodic reports
Assist in variance analysis and management reporting
Support data preparation for review with plant/site leadership
4. Compliance & Audit
Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, GST, TDS, etc.
Provide required data/documentation to auditors
5. Manufacturing Finance Exposure
Work closely with production & stores teams for financial data validation
Assist in inventory tracking, stock reconciliation, and basic analysis
Support process improvement and financial control initiatives
Key Skills
Robust Accounting & Financial Reporting knowledge
Basic understanding of Manufacturing environment
Knowledge of GST, TDS & compliance
Good Excel & analytical skills
Strong coordination & communication
