Position description:
This position will report to the Director of Lab Operations within the Systems Engineering department and will be primarily responsible for the maintenance and day-to-day function of a highly active R&D; laboratory environment. The main objective of this position will be ensuring operation and preparation of mission critical equipment, capacity, and supply to promote robust medical device design development and evaluations.
Responsibilities:
Maintain laboratory equipment by scheduling regular maintenance, interfacing with facilities, service technicians and responding to equipment issues.
Establish and enforce lab safety and housekeeping practices by reviewing best practices, interfacing with engineers to determine special needs.
