We are seeking an experienced compliance leader to drive the Company’s compliance and regulatory governance framework in line with RBI regulations applicable to Middle Layer NBFCs and fintech-led lending businesses. The role will partner closely with senior management and the Board to ensure robust regulatory oversight, governance, risk management, and effective regulatory engagement.
What You'll Do:
Regulatory Strategy & Governance
Lead the enterprise-wide compliance framework for the Company.
Ensure compliance with regulations issued by:
Reserve Bank of India
FIU-IND
Ministry of Corporate Affairs
Other applicable regulatory authorities
Provide strategic guidance to leadership on regulatory developments and emerging compliance risks.
Drive governance and compliance alignment with RBI regulations applicable to Middle Layer NBFCs, digital lending, outsourcing, fair practices, customer protection, and IT/data governance.
Present compliance updates, risk assessments, and regulatory matters to the Board and Board Committees.
Regulatory Engagement & Inspection Management




Act as a key point of contact for RBI inspections and regulatory interactions.
Lead regulatory submissions, supervisory responses, thematic reviews, and action closure tracking.
Manage escalations relating to regulatory observations and ensure timely remediation.
Build and maintain effective relationships with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders.
Compliance Risk Management
Establish and strengthen compliance risk assessment frameworks across the organization.
Oversee compliance monitoring, testing, thematic reviews, and surveillance activities.
Ensure effective tracking and closure of compliance breaches and audit observations.
Drive automation and technology-led compliance monitoring initiatives.
AML / KYC & Financial Crime Oversight
Provide oversight on AML/KYC compliance, PMLA obligations, sanctions screening, fraud risk controls, and customer due diligence frameworks.
