Job Description – Food & Beverage Manager Location: VGP Heritage Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: General Manager / Management
Position Summary The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all F& B operations at VGP Heritage, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining quality standards, maximizing revenue, and controlling costs. The role involves managing restaurant, banquet, and bar operations while leading the team to deliver outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of restaurants, banquets, bars, and catering services.
Ensure high standards of food quality, service, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
Monitor food and beverage costs, control wastage, and maintain profitability.
Prepare budgets, analyze sales reports, and implement strategies to increase revenue.
Coordinate with the Executive Chef for menu planning, pricing, and promotions.
Oversee inventory management, procurement, and vendor coordination.
Ensure compliance with FSSAI regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Recruit, train, schedule,



and supervise F& B staff to maintain service excellence.
Handle guest complaints and ensure prompt resolution.
Plan and execute special events, banquets, and seasonal promotions.
Monitor service standards and ensure smooth coordination among all departments.
Develop upselling strategies and improve average guest spending.
Maintain proper records, reports, and MIS related to F& B operations.
Required Skills Robust leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and guest relationship skills.
Sound knowledge of food costing, menu engineering, and inventory control.
Knowledge of restaurant POS systems and Microsoft Office.
Ability to analyze financial reports and achieve revenue targets.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Thorough understanding of hygiene and safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management.
