The Role
Teach English to K-12 students through our interactive online platform - including exam preparation for GCSE, IGCSE, 11+, and competitive entrance exams. You'll develop confident communicators, critical readers, and skilled writers while making literature and language come alive.
What You'll Do
Deliver engaging live English lessons tailored to each student's pace and learning style Develop core skills: reading comprehension, essay writing, grammar, vocabulary, and critical analysis Prepare students for major exams: GCSE English, IGCSE, 11+, and competitive entrance assessments Teach summarising, paraphrasing, and citing evidence - building academic literacy and exam technique Guide students through literature analysis and creative writing with confidence Track progress, assign targeted practice, and provide detailed,



constructive feedback Build exam confidence through strategic practice and structured writing coaching Partner with parents through regular progress check-ins and exam readiness updates Stay current through our training and curriculum development programs What We're Looking For
Must-Have:
Bachelor's degree (BA, MA, BCom, MCom, or equivalent in English/Literature/Communication) Robust English communication - patient, articulate, and able to simplify complex concepts Proven expertise in exam-level English (GCSE, IGCSE, 11+, or equivalent) Reliable tech setup: laptop/desktop with camera, mic, and stable internet (≥10 Mbps) Nice-to-Have:
Teaching experience in Ed Tech, tutoring, or competitive exam preparation Background in K-12 English curriculum design and exam pedagogy Experience teaching literature analysis and academic writing Track record of improving student exam scores and writing quality Commitment
Minimum 100 hours/month UK
