About Position:
We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data platforms on Azure. This role focuses on building modern Lakehouse architectures, optimizing large-scale data pipelines, and driving best practices across data engineering and platform governance. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders and mentor teams to deliver scalable, high-performance, and cost-effective data solutions.

What You'll Do:
Design and implement scalable data architectures on Azure using Databricks and ADLS Gen2
Define and govern Lakehouse architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers) following best practices
Lead development and optimization of high-volume data pipelines (batch, streaming, incremental/CDC)
Drive Spark performance tuning (partitioning, caching, shuffle optimization, file sizing, Z-ordering)
Architect end-to-end solutions using ADF, Synapse, Databricks, and Azure ecosystem services




Integrate Java-based REST APIs for data ingestion, orchestration, and service enablement
Ensure data quality, governance, and security (RBAC, Key Vault, access control)
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
Mentor and guide engineering teams to deliver high-performance and reliable data platforms
Expertise You'll Bring:
Strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Py Spark, and Spark optimization
Experience with ADLS Gen2, ADF, Synapse Analytics
Deep understanding of Lakehouse / Medallion Architecture
Hands-on experience with large-scale batch and streaming data pipelines
Knowledge of data governance, security, and access control frameworks
Experience integrating REST APIs for data workflows
Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts
