Tax Consultants – Investment Fund Taxation
to support our U. S. tax compliance practice.
This is a
part time, hourly consulting role
for professionals with strong experience in
U. S. partnership taxation , particularly in preparing and reviewing
Form 1065 partnership tax returns
for investment fund clients.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting hedge funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, fund-of-funds, and other investment partnership structures. This role requires strong technical tax knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client deadlines while working during U. S. tax hours.
Engagement Type and Compensation
This is a
part-time consulting engagement
paid on an
hourly basis.
The consultant will be assigned work based on client requirements, tax season workload, project timelines, and return volume. Weekly hours may vary depending on business needs.
Hourly compensation will be based on relevant experience, technical expertise, prior investment fund tax exposure,



and the complexity of assigned work.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review U. S. partnership tax returns, including
Form 1065 , for investment fund clients.
Support tax compliance work for hedge funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, fund-of-funds, and other investment partnerships.
Prepare and review partner allocations, Schedule K-1s, tax workpapers, and supporting schedules.
Analyze fund structures and partnership agreements to determine tax reporting requirements.
Perform book-to-tax adjustments, capital account analysis, and income and loss allocations.
Review investor reporting and ensure the accuracy and completeness of tax deliverables.
Coordinate with U. S.-based teams and clients during tax season and other project deadlines.
Use
Go System Tax RS
to prepare and review tax returns.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality work while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
