The Role Key Responsibilities Define enterprise application architectures, target-state roadmaps, transition architectures, and modernization strategies. Establish application architecture standards, governance frameworks, design principles, reusable patterns, and design review processes. Translate business strategy, customer journeys, regulatory requirements,



and operational needs into application architecture and implementation roadmaps. Lead application architecture assessments across business applications, digital platforms, integrations, APIs, data services, cloud-native applications, and AI-enabled systems. Design secure, scalable, resilient, and high-performing application ecosystems across hybrid cloud, SaaS, cloud-native, and enterprise environments. Guide modernization initiatives including API-first architectures, microservices, event-driven architectures, domain-driven design, serverless architectures, containers, and composable platforms. Define application integration strategies using APIs, messaging, ESB, event streaming, orchestration, and service-oriented architecture patterns.
