Your work profile

We are looking for a Senior SDET with 8+ years of experience and strong expertise in Java-based API automation, deep understanding of API engineering fundamentals, and proven experience in testing microservices-driven systems within retail banking environments.

This role is suited for engineers who go beyond executing test scripts—those who understand system behaviour, validate integrations end-to-end,



and take ownership of quality outcomes.

Key skills required

8+ years of experience in SDET / QA Automation roles
Strong programming expertise in Java (mandatory)
Hands-on experience with API automation tools:
REST Assured (primary)
Postman / Newman (supporting only)
Karate (good to have)
Experience testing API-first and microservices architectures
Solid understanding of:
Service contracts
Mocking and stubbing
JSON / XML validation
API schema validation
Integration testing patterns
Domain exposure to Retail Banking:
Accounts, payments, cards, onboarding, transactions
Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle
Strong debugging skills using Linux, logs, backend tracing
Strong understanding of API fundamentals:
Endpoints, payloads, status codes, authentication

Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
