About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and target-driven Lead Generation to manage lead generation and client acquisition through Upwork.

You will be responsible for finding relevant projects, researching potential clients, creating personalised proposals, managing conversations and follow-ups, and generating qualified business opportunities. The ideal candidate should understand Upwork as a sales channel and be focused on converting opportunities into actual clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Monitor Upwork daily and identify relevant projects aligned with our services.
* Research clients and understand their requirements before applying.
* Write personalised and compelling Upwork proposals instead of generic templates.
* Manage multiple active proposals, client conversations, and follow-ups.
* Respond to client messages promptly and professionally.
* Conduct initial discussions to understand requirements and qualify opportunities.




* Coordinate with the sales/delivery team when deeper technical or service discussions are required.
* Maintain and optimise the company’s Upwork profile and portfolio.
* Track proposals sent, responses, interviews, conversions, and contract value.
* Manage Upwork Connects efficiently and focus on high-potential opportunities.
* Build a consistent pipeline rather than relying on occasional wins.
* Share regular reports on lead generation and Upwork performance.
