Quality Control Engineer (NDT Level II)

- Key ResponsibilitiesPerform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of metallic and rubber expansion joints.
- Conduct dimensional inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings, QAPs, and customer specifications.
- Perform and interpret NDT (PT, MT, UT, VT) Level II inspections and prepare reports.
- Witness hydro, pneumatic, leak, and functional tests as per project requirements.
- Maintain material traceability, inspection records, NDT reports, and final quality dossiers.
- Coordinate customer and third-party inspections (TPI) and close inspection observations.
- Raise and monitor NCRs, implement corrective actions, and support continuous quality improvement.
- Ensure calibration of inspection and measuring instruments.




- Qualifications Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Valid NDT Level II Certification (PT, MT, UT & VT preferred).
- 2–5 years of QA/QC experience in expansion joints, pressure vessels, piping, or heavy fabrication.
- Required SkillsKnowledge of ASME, ASTM, EJMA, WPS/PQR, welding inspection, and pressure testing.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP/MES systems.
- Robust communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
